Our Process

In this day and age, not many things are built to last. But deWolde Custom Designs isn’t one of them. We refuse to compromise. We still hand-select the kiln-dried cherry, maple and red oak hardwoods we work with.

Order

Your deposit gets processed and we put in the order. This deposit covers the purchase of lumber and materials used.

Design

Once the materials arrive (the wood) you as the client will receive progress reports as your piece being built. This gives you the opportunity to make, add or change sight features on you piece.

Staining

Once the piece is at the staining stage, this is where we like to stop the progress report till delivery, so that the client has final surprise at the end.
